I am pleased to welcome each of you to Impact Charter School. I am also excited to share that Impact Charter School has been named one of the nation’s top schools by U.S. News and World Report in 2025, 2024 and a 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2018 Top Gains Honoree and 2016 Top Gains School by the Louisiana Department of Education. Impact Charter was also voted as a 2021 Family Favorites 1st Runner Up for Baton Rouge Parents Magazine.

Every school year, we start off and continue with a bang of excitement, motivation, and learning. Our scholars enjoy the unique learning and engaging educational experience at Impact as they are proud to be part of history, by being enrolled in one of the first public charter schools in the City of Baker.

At Impact, we believe that all children can learn and soar to excellence. We meet all children where they are and teach them according to their own personal learning style. We encourage you as parents and community members to be a part of ICS by volunteering, giving, and sharing the good news of Impact Charter School.
